In the serene village nestled in the shadow of the Altai Mountains of Mongolia, a dormant and malevolent force named Modotroxam was awakened from its hundred-thousand-year slumber, deep beneath the Earth's crust. Artimus Grant, a power-hungry man with grand ambitions of becoming the ruler of Earth, had journeyed far to awaken the monstrous entity. Using an ancient, forbidden ritual, he summoned the giant, a colossal being as tall as the surrounding mountains themselves. Grant had ventured far from his base of operations in New York, driven to unleash the destructive might of this colossal giant, which possessed supernatural control over lightning and thunder. Modotroxam's awakening resulted in a cataclysmic event that leveled the tranquil village. Lightning and its thundering fists killed all in its gigantic path.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Talya Denath, a brilliant young
scientist specializing in harnessing electricity for various experimental
purposes, had been manipulating energy to open portals and explore the fabric
of space-time itself. The Neutrino Phase Shifter was the name of her project,
her life's work. But unbeknownst to Talya, her work was on the cusp of a
monumental discovery.

Late one evening, Talya was approached by a mysterious man with an enigmatic agenda. Artimus Grant was aware of the potential of her experiments. Grant solicited her expertise to craft a device capable of controlling the awakened beast, Modotroxam. He pleaded with Talya to help him stop the beast.

For some time, Grant had been following the progress of the wunderkind scientist Talya Denath, as her team made some of their discoveries available to various circles within the scientific community. Grant learned about her energy projects through his own R&D departments for his various companies. Though no official papers had been published, Grant knew that he could control the monster of the mountains for his own goals.

Talya had become aware of the awakening of Modotroxam as the colossal monster suddenly materialized in the heart of LA. Knowing that he had little time left, Grant attacked Talya in a bid to seize the control device—the Neutrino Phase Shifter—from her grasp. He managed to take the device but left Talya alive, despite his best efforts.

As the awakened Modotroxam began its relentless rampage through the heart of Los Angeles, its wrath knew no bounds. The city was plunged into chaos, and the monstrous giant wreaked havoc with its supernatural control over lightning and thunder. Skyscrapers crumbled, and the once-bustling metropolis was reduced to ruins.
Then, just before the city was completely gone, the colossal beast vanished. Grant, who now had power over the beast, departed in his private jet for Washington, D.C., where he planned to make the first phase of his bid for ultimate power.
Unknown to Grant, Talya had the Neutrino Phase Shifter prototype and traveled to Washington, D.C., escorted by the military. Just as she arrived in D.C., Modotroxam and Grant stood near the US capital, as the beast was about to unleash its destructive power. Grant made his demands, and in an obscene display of power, Grant ordered the monster to attack.
It crushed the dome of the capital before setting its sights on other landmarks and the terrified people around.

Amidst the turmoil, Talya confronted Grant near the ruins of
the U.S. Capitol. Grant, confident in his control over Modotroxam, made his
demands, intending to assert dominance over the nation. The colossal beast
stood ready to fulfill its master's wishes and unleash unimaginable
destruction.
With unwavering determination and scientific expertise, Talya activated the Phase Shifter, now empowered by a new set of instructions.
The first part of the operation turned off control of the device, and seeing that it was free of Grant's hold over it, Modotroxam lifted a massive fist and slammed down on the puny form of the little man.
Grant was dead in an instant.
But the rage in the beast only intensified, and now it looked at Talya as its next victim. It raised its fist once more, slowly and high into the heavens.
There was hardly a second left when she tapped the second command on the Phase Shifter, and the thing whirred to life, harnessing the supernatural powers of Modotroxam and redirecting the force of its lightning and thunder back upon itself. A feedback loop from which there was no escape.
In a blinding, cataclysmic flash, the colossal giant exploded with the brilliance of a thousand suns and vanished, leaving nothing but the remnants of its malevolent power.
Talya had done it, but with the victory came a horrible
guilt. If she had never made the device, then maybe Grant would not have
awakened the monster, and all of those innocent lives would never have been
lost.
